The resin used is high density polyethylene ( HDPE ) also known as puck board, the same material as would be found on hockey arena boards. It has very high impact resistance and has a textured finish. The resin contains recycled material as it becomes available. The resin is also stress relieved ( heat treated ) and has UV inhibitors to prevent fading.
